As a very first overnight cruise operator in Halong Bay, sustainable and responsible tourism is always our big concern while operating in Halong. Sealife Group believes that travel and tourism can improve lifes and protect the destinations, especially Halong Bay.

Nowadays, the booming number of overnight cruises on the bays threads to damage the environment, communities as well as the local lifes. Therefore, Sealife Group has been trying to protect the environment, improve the local communities from the smallest actions to the big projects. Mr. Bui Duc Long – Founder of Sealife Group also a Halong local resident, he always trains his employees to protect Halong and raise their awareness of responsible travel. Sealife Group has participated and kept the strong relationship with all major stakeholders to conserve the environment, sustains the well-being of the local people. Sealife Group has been an active member of IUCN to join the project of protecting Cat Ba – Halong Bay. Furthermore, Sealife Group set up a fund with the name as “Sealife Foundation” for protecting the environment, helping the communities and developing the local economy and divide it into 3 parts: “Sealife Eco” , “Sealife Community” and “Sealife Opportunity”

  • Sealife Eco: Sealife Group would like to be a partner of a green planet, thus we reduce our environmental footprint by the glass bottles in stead of using plastic bottles to store the water in guest suites, the garbage is always classified into 2 types inorganic and organic in the kitchen. Besides, Sealife Group raises a campaign to protect environment as mangrove planting project in Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba World Reserve. Moreover, with all the guests choosing Sealife Group, we raise their awareness of protecting the destination environment.

  • Sealife Community: Sealife Group built a project based on the relationship with the local people, every cruise in the collection of Sealife Group uses the fresh products from the local communities to promote the local economy as well as promote them to produce the fresh and clean products. Last year, Sealife Group was proud to be one of the main charitable organization to help the students at Ban Luoc Primary school, Hoang Su Phi District, Ha Giang Province with total about 7290 meals for these students in 9 months. Sealife Group always hope to help as many as possible for strengthening the community. We are also working hard to improve life of people everywhere in Vietnam.

  • Sealife Opportunity: Sealife Group also create the big opportunity for all local residents to work as Sealife staffs and encourage them to perform their best. On the other hand, Sealife Group tries to support every single staff to build a strong and tight group.
